Bay Area B'nai Mitzvah

The Bar, Bat, and B' Mitzvah ritual is a sacred time for both the family, the child, as well as the teacher. We have designed our work to create a one-on-one mentoring relationship in which we connect with your child to discover their passions and infuse these passions into our lessons. We believe that in order for your child to feel successful in the Bar/ Bat/B' Mitzvah process, they need to feel empowered, motivated, and connected to the deeper spiritual purpose of this meaningful rite of passage. We gently guide your child to connecting deeper with Judaism, prayer, and their relationship to the beautiful ceremony that we will co-create with your family. We see the Bat/Bar/B' Mitzvah as a step in the life-long journey of the Jewish path, and want to help pave the way for a deep authentic connection that lasts a lifetime.

TESTIMONIALS

"Miriam is amazing! My daughter looks forward to her lessons with Miriam each week because Miriam makes it so fun! She is so warm, creative and patient. My daughter is not only learning Hebrew but doing art, learning about the geography of Israel, creating original board games and stories! It's a whole Jewish education. We are so grateful to have Miriam in our lives, I couldn't ask for a better teacher."

"Miriam is an incredible Jewish educator and service leader. Her passion comes through as she creates spiritual moments rich in history and inspiration. She also has a stirring voice that brings out deep emotion in the listener. Miriam and I have officiated many Bnai Mitzvah ceremonies together, and It’s an honor and a pleasure to get the opportunity to compliment the work she does. "
