B'NAI MITZVAH MENTORING
Miriam Kanani offers personalized and exceptional B'nai Mitzvah Mentoring to guide your family through every step of the B'nai Mitzvah process. She specializes in working with families that are doing a Bat or Bar Mitzvah independently and outside of the typical synagogue setting. Her mentoring include one-on-one lessons customized for her B'nai Mitzvah students, a personalized binder which includes all of the prayers they will need to learn, a special Torah portion book with commentaries on their portion, audio recordings for all of the prayers and Torah portion, family meetings to plan the ceremony, a two hour rehearsal prior to their ceremony and most importantly included is the officiating for your child's Bat/Bar Mitzvah ceremony.
ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING LESSONS
Creating a connection with your child is our top priority in our mentoring services. Our lead mentor Miriam is both friendly and personable, and has a great rapport with her students and families alike. She builds a relationship of trust to get her students to feel connected to the B'nai Mitzvah process. She helps her students excel and learn to love Hebrew, and Judaism even if they have had minimal exposure to the Jewish tradition prior to their study. She creates lessons that are engaging and also focused to make sure your child will be ready on time for their ceremony. A mid year evaluation will be provided to the family to mark your child's progress, as well as a month to month plan of what prayers or part of their Torah portion they will master each month.

GROUP MENTORING
We also offer group mentoring with a group of up to four students. In our group lesson we teach both Hebrew (optional), and all of the prayers, as well as Torah portion preparation in the group lessons.  Even in group lessons each student will get personalized attention, and we will make the learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities.
We are here to help your family make the B'nai Mitzvah Process meaningful and fun, and to co-create a ceremony that is a powerful reflection of your child and your family.
